The United Kingdom

UK has a very well education system, and which is monitored by different agencies including the AQA, Edexcel, OCR, CCEA and WJEC. It is to ensure uniform curriculum in the whole nation. For further studies, in addition to secondary GCSEs, GCEs course, there are also IB, Foundation Programme, NVQ, GNVQs, AVCEs these other choices of higher education. School year
As the education system in Hong Kong follows that in the UK, the school year of Hong Kong is the same as that in the United Kingdom, which is from September to June. During the year, there are Christmas, Easter and summer holidays.

High school
Many Hong Kong students go to study in UK every year. Most of them will choose GCSEs and GCEALevel courses which are corresponding to our HKCEE and ALevel. Foundation Programme

The United States

Associate Degree
This is a two year course, students who completed the course will be approved as completed the first two year of a undergraduate degree course. Graduates can apply for the year three courses in American universities.

University
The United States has the largest number of universities in the world, and which can be divided into public and private universities. The tuition fees vary greatly. The U.S. degree courses are generally four years courses, and admission requirements are different in different universities. Australia

School Year
Since Australia is located in the southern hemisphere, the weather is the opposite of Hong Kong. School year starts from early February. Primary and Secondary Schools
The six levels in primary school are called grade one to grade six, while the six levels in secondary school are called grade seven to grade twelve. Students have to prepare for a public examination in grade twelve and then enroll in university courses.

Pre-University
After the completion of grade eleven, student of specialized courses can go on to complete the grade twelve courses or to enroll in TAFE or private specialized college courses. The courses will take one to two years for completion. After that, students can enroll in year two of university courses according to their results.

University
The students who have completed the grade eleven can enroll in a one-year pre-university course. After completion of the course, students can directly enroll in the year one university degree courses.
