Application Procedure: After the submission of complete documents, the permanent resident identity cards will be granted in about two weeks.

The applicant of the necessary copy files:

• Passport
• Certificate of Marriage
• Birth Certificate
• Family Record Book
• Eight 2-inch color photos per person
• Certificate of No Criminal Conviction (16 years or over)

In addition, the Capital Investment Entrant Scheme application procedures are as follows: After obtaining the resident right of a foreign country, the applicants can apply for the scheme.
Documents are needed to prove that the main applicant has assets equivalent to HK6.5 million dollars during the past two years. Also, the copy of the passport and family record book are needed to submit.

If there are any dependents, all the copies of the passports of the family, family record book, birth certificates of children and certificate of marriage. After submitting the application form, applicants would be granted the principle approval in about 8-12 weeks. After having principle approval, the applicant will be given a 3-6 months Hong Kong visa to facilitate his investment in Hong Kong. During this period, the applicants should invest HK6.5 million dollars in Hong Kong. Then, the applicants should show the evidence and will be given Hong Kong investment visas. Applicants have to visit Hong Kong in the assigned 3 months and apply for the Hong Kong identity card, then they will become a Hong Kong resident.
